Queen-Bee Your Business Workshop

Having run my own business for 10 years I have been able to establish the do's and do not's of running your own business successfully. This course is ideal for those that are a sole trader with their client base, those just starting out in the industry, and those with staff within the salon. Not just for beauty but also hairdressing as well.

The course covers so much material and I go into depth with it all:

  • Advertising - what works, what doesn't, when to do it

  • Working hours and being firm with them

  • Boundaries - for working hours, clients and social media

  • Clients - attracting new clients, looking after your existing clientele

  • Websites

  • Social media

  • Brands - cheap vs expensive

  • Photos - how to take them and use them properly

  • Treatments - what you do, what you want to do, what you need to exclude

  • Logos

  • Goal setting - what do you want to get out of this?

  • Uniform - how to look the part

  • Consultations - what you need to ask

  • Pricing - are you charging your worth?

  • Aftercare - do you look after your clients when they leave?

  • Booking systems - paper and pen vs online booking

  • Policies, Terms and Conditions - have you got them set up?

Classes are limited to 4 with lunch included. It’s a fantastic way to network with other business owners within the hair and beauty industry, share ideas and tips, learn new ways you can bring into your business, it’s about learning how to be in charge and feeling empowered as a business owner
